## Project Background
The gas pipeline network in this area covers approximately 80 square kilometers of urban area, with a dense network of underground chambers. Traditional manual inspection is difficult to cover all points. The client has proposed a requirement for 24-hour real-time monitoring + automatic alarm for anomalies.
## Implementation Plan
Utilizing the combination of the YQRQ-100 fixed underground well chamber combustible gas monitor and the YQRQ-300 gimbal-mounted laser methane remote sensor, we have deployed over 500 monitoring points, all of which are integrated into the client’s existing urban gas safety management platform.
– 4G/NB-IoT dual-network communication, enabling real-time data upload to the cloud
– 5-year maintenance-free design, reducing the frequency of operation and maintenance
– Automatic SMS alert for abnormal concentrations + platform pop-up dual alarm
## Implementation Effect
Within six months after going online, a total of 12 methane anomalies in well chambers were detected and addressed, with the average response time reduced from the original 2 hours to 8 minutes, successfully preventing 3 potential accidents. The client has planned to expand the system to cover the entire city in the second phase.
