## Project Background
The subway line, which has been operational for 8 years, experiences an average daily passenger flow of 320,000. The cumulative concentration of CO in the tunnel sections has shown a significant increase, which is related to the aging of the line. The operating company has initiated an intelligent renovation of the ventilation system.

## Implementation Plan
Deploy 86 sets of Insight YQGT-CO carbon monoxide monitors every 200m along the operational tunnel, with data integrated into the tunnel ventilation control center and linked with variable frequency exhaust fans.

– Range: 0-300ppm, resolution: 1ppm
– Multi-point linkage: composite judgment of mean value + single-point peak value
– Threshold classification: 30ppm for early warning, 50ppm for initiating enhanced ventilation, 100ppm for emergency broadcast + train deceleration

## Implementation Effect
After being put into operation for one year, the average CO concentration in the tunnel decreased by 41%, and the ventilation energy consumption decreased by 12% (avoiding normal full load operation). The project won the “Annual Operation and Maintenance Innovation Award” from the municipal rail company.
