环氧丙烷 Detection
Formula C3H8 · CAS 75-56-9 · 醚类(极易燃)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Epoxypropane belongs to the ether class (C-O-C structure), and most of it is highly flammable liquid or gas, with its vapor exhibiting strong anesthetic effects. It has a low lower explosion limit and can be ignited by electrostatic sparks. Long-term storage may result in the formation of peroxides (which can explode upon shock or heating). Storage must be protected from light and heat, and regular testing for peroxides is required. Commonly used PID monitoring is employed.
