二乙醚 Detection
Formula C₄H₁₀O · CAS 60-29-7 · 醚类(极易燃)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Diethyl ether belongs to the ether category (C-O-C structure), and most of them are highly flammable liquids or gases. Their vapor has a strong anesthetic effect. With a low lower explosion limit, it can be ignited by electrostatic sparks. Long-term storage may produce peroxides (which can explode when shaken or heated). It must be stored away from light and heat, and peroxides must be regularly detected. Commonly used PID monitoring is employed.
