二甲基苯胺 Detection
Formula C₈H₁₁N · CAS 121-69-7 · 芳香烃 / 苯系物
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Dimethylaniline is an aromatic hydrocarbon/benzene derivative (containing a benzene ring structure), mostly as a colorless flammable liquid with a distinctive aromatic odor. It is commonly associated with neurotoxicity - long-term exposure can damage the nervous system, liver, kidneys, and hematopoietic system. Some benzene derivatives (benzene, ethylbenzene, aniline) have been classified as carcinogens by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and can cause leukemia. Commonly monitored using a PID (IP 8.8 eV, high sensitivity).
Typical Application Scenarios
- Petrochemical storage tanks / oil loading and unloading areas
- Paint / Coating / Adhesive Workshop
- Printing / Chemical Synthesis
- Gas station oil vapor recovery
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
PID (IP 8.8 eV, highest sensitivity) / Infrared
Common Range:0-100 ppm
