丁醚 Detection
Formula C₈H₁₈O · CAS 142-96-1 · 醚类(极易燃)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Butyl ether belongs to the ether category (C-O-C structure), and most are highly flammable liquids or gases. Their vapor has a strong anesthetic effect. They have a low lower explosion limit and can be ignited by electrostatic sparks. Long-term storage may produce peroxides (which can explode when shaken or heated). Storage must be protected from light and heat, and peroxides must be regularly tested. Commonly used PID monitoring.
