二丁醚 Detection
Formula C₈H₁₈O · CAS 142-96-1 · 醚类(极易燃)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Dibutyl ether belongs to the ether category (C-O-C structure), with most being highly flammable liquids or gases, and its vapor possesses a strong anesthetic effect. It has a low lower explosion limit and can be ignited by electrostatic sparks. Long-term storage may result in the formation of peroxides (which can explode upon shock or heating). Storage must be protected from light and heat, and regular testing for peroxides must be conducted. Commonly used PID monitoring is employed.
