氨气 Detection
Formula NH₃ · CAS 7664-41-7 · 刺激性 / 毒性 / 可燃气体
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Ammonia is a colorless gas with a strong irritating odor, which has a strong irritating effect on the eyes, nose, throat mucosa, and respiratory tract. Low concentrations can cause tearing and dry throat; high concentrations can lead to laryngeal edema, pulmonary edema, and even death. When the concentration of ammonia in the air exceeds 16%, it can explode if exposed to open flames.
Occupational Exposure Limits (GBZ 2.1-2019)
| PC-TWA (Time-Weighted Average) | 20 mg/m³ |
|---|---|
| PC-STEL (Short-Term Exposure) | 30 mg/m³ |
| IDLH (Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health) | 300 ppm |
| LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) | 15% |
| UEL (Upper Explosive Limit) | 28% |

Typical Application Scenarios
- Refrigeration industry (liquid ammonia cold storage)
- Fertilizer/synthetic ammonia plant
- Anaerobic digestion in wastewater treatment plants
- Livestock farm
- Food cold chain workshop
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
Electrochemical sensors are primarily used, supplemented by semiconductor sensors; infrared or laser remote sensing is employed for high-concentration scenarios
Common Range:0-100 ppm(环境)/ 0-1000 ppm(工业泄漏)
