R13 Detection
Formula R13 (CFC/HCFC/HFC) · CAS 75-72-9 · 卤代制冷剂
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
R13 is a halogenated hydrocarbon refrigerant with low inherent toxicity. The main risks are: ① asphyxiation caused by oxygen displacement due to leakage in enclosed spaces (such as cold storage rooms/machine rooms); ② release of highly toxic substances such as HF/HCl/COCl₂ upon thermal decomposition; ③ destruction of the ozone layer by some varieties (CFC/HCFC), which is already restricted by the Montreal Protocol; ④ strong greenhouse gases (GWP > 1000) in the HFC category. Commonly used monitoring methods include infrared (NDIR) or semiconductor halogen sensors.
Typical Application Scenarios
- Cold storage / Central air conditioning room
- Industrial refrigeration equipment
- Cold chain transportation
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
Infrared (NDIR, the most commonly used) / Semiconductor halogen / Electron capture
Common Range:0-1000 ppm
