四溴化锡 Detection
Formula SnBr₄ · CAS 7789-67-5 · 溴代有机物(高毒)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Tetrabromide of tin is a brominated organic compound, typically exhibiting stronger toxicity than its corresponding chlorinated counterparts. Its vapor irritates the respiratory tract, and certain varieties (such as bromomethane) are highly toxic and can be absorbed through the skin. It is predominantly used in fumigation for pest control, as a flame retardant, and in chemical synthesis. The Montreal Protocol has restricted the use of bromomethane. Commonly, it is monitored using PID or specialized sensors.
