四氯化锡 Detection
Formula SnCl₄ · CAS 7646-78-8 · 氯代有机物(神经毒)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Tin tetrachloride is a chlorinated organic compound, commonly known for its neurotoxic and anesthetic effects, and can damage the liver and kidneys. Some chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, and vinyl chloride, have been classified as carcinogens by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The Montreal Protocol has restricted the use of certain varieties due to their ozone-depleting properties. It is primarily used as an organic solvent and chemical intermediate. Commonly monitored using PID (some varieties require strong ultraviolet radiation at 11.7 eV) or specialized electrochemical sensors.
Typical Application Scenarios
- Chlor-Alkali Chemical Industry
- Semiconductor CVD / Etching
- Pharmaceutical synthesis intermediates
- Dry cleaning/degreasing workshop
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
PID (some require 11.7 eV lamp) / electrochemical sensor
Common Range:0-100 ppm
