四氯化钛 Detection
Formula TiCl₄ · CAS 7550-45-0 · 氯代有机物(神经毒)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Titanium tetrachloride is a chlorinated organic compound, generally exhibiting neurotoxic and anesthetic effects, and capable of damaging the liver and kidneys. Certain chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, and vinyl chloride, have been classified as carcinogens by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The Montreal Protocol has restricted the use of certain varieties due to their ozone-depleting properties. Titanium tetrachloride is primarily used as an organic solvent and chemical intermediate. It is commonly monitored using a PID (some varieties require strong ultraviolet radiation at 11.7 eV) or a dedicated electrochemical sensor.
Typical Application Scenarios
- Chlor-Alkali Chemical Industry
- Semiconductor CVD / Etching
- Pharmaceutical synthesis intermediates
- Dry cleaning/degreasing workshop
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
PID (some require 11.7 eV lamp) / electrochemical sensor
Common Range:0-100 ppm
