Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Liquefied petroleum gas broadly refers to the comprehensive indicator of combustible gases (LEL monitoring). When the concentration of all combustible volatiles reaches 25% of the LEL, a pre-alarm should be given, and when it reaches 50%, an emergency evacuation must be carried out. It covers methane, propane, hydrogen, gasoline vapor, organic solvent vapor, etc. Commonly used are catalytic combustion probes (the most common) or infrared sensors (which still work under high-concentration and oxygen-deficient conditions).
Typical Application Scenarios
- Universal for combustible gas locations across the industry
- Chemical industry / Energy / Gas
- Mines / tunnels / confined spaces
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
Catalytic combustion (preferred) / Infrared (oxygen deficiency/high concentration)
Common Range:0-100% LEL
