乙二醇单甲醚 Detection
CAS 109-86-4 · 醇类(易燃溶剂)
Hazards & Toxic Symptoms
Ethylene glycol monomethyl ether is a combustible liquid belonging to the alcohol category (containing -OH hydroxyl groups), with its vapor being flammable and having an anesthetic effect. Low concentrations irritate the eyes and nose, while high concentrations can cause dizziness, drowsiness, and decreased judgment. It can be metabolized in the body to aldehydes (some alcohol metabolites are toxic). It is commonly used as an industrial solvent, cleaning agent, and fuel additive. Storage sites require PID or catalytic combustion probes to monitor vapor leaks.
Typical Application Scenarios
- Chemical solvent process workshop
- Pharmaceutical / Food / Disinfection Workshops
- Fuel ethanol/methanol filling station
- Laboratory fume hood
Detection Principle / Recommended Sensors
PID (preferred, IP typically 9-10.5 eV) / Semiconductor / Catalytic Combustion
Common Range:0-200 ppm
🤝 Custom Product in Progress
